ASCM supports Voices for Justice

Since 2006, Voices for Justice has been an important event helping to raise political awareness of global poverty and equip Christians to become lifelong advocates for the poor.

In 2015 we have another great opportunity to gather with like-minded Christians from across Australia in worship, prayer, training and advocacy - raising a united voice to influence government policy for the benefit of the world’s poorest people.  This year we have seen severe cuts to the Federal aid budget and we know that in 2015, the Sustainable Development Goals, which build on the Millennium Development Goals (our previous campaigning platform), are set to be agreed upon by world leaders.  Our voices – yours and mine – can once again to be added together to speak for justice.

I’d like to invite you to come to Canberra from the 10th to the 13th of October and be part of Voices for Justice 2015. Details on how to register will be available shortly.

We are privileged to be able to raise our Voices for Justice in a wealthy and democratic nation. Let’s make the most of the opportunity God has given us.
