On Sunday 6 June at 5pm AEST, Mandy Tibbey will interview two leaders of the WSCF in Asia-Pacific, Ms Fanny Chung, Interim Regional Co-Ordinator of the WSCF Asia-Pacific and Ms Hnin Wai Thi Aung, from Myanmar SCM, who is also a Member of the Executive Committee of the WSCF. The interview will explore the context in which each of them lives and works, work with the SCM and WSCF. The zoom meeting will include some time for questions and discussion.
Fanny is a registered Social Worker in Hong Kong. She joined the SCM in Hong Kong in 2008, joined the Standing Committee in 2010 and is now finishing her Master of Arts in Inter-Asia NGO studies at SungKongHoe University in Korea (Anglican University in Korea). She is Presbyterian by background but moves around different churches in her work as Interim Regional Co-Ordinator.
Hnin Wai Thi Aung, known as ‘Arr Wai’ is from Myanmar SCM. She is now studying Electronics and Communication at Technological University (Hmawbi) in Yangon, Myanmar. She is an Anglican, joined SCM in 2014 and was a student General Secretary of Yangon SCM branch. She is now a Member of the Executive Committee of the WSCF representing the Asia-Pacific region.
